Throughout 2022, we worked with our international trade union partners to promote fair work through social dialogue, focusing on labour rights in value chains especially of textiles, palm oil, minerals, cane sugar and cashew, including gender equality, and especially in Africa youth employability
The war in Ukraine created a rise in inflation and an energy crisis. This affected workers and employers across the globe. The high cost of living greatly impacted vulnerable workers, who were already having trouble making ends meet.
Our Annual Report provides you with an overview of a year where trade union freedom suffered perhaps even more than in previous years. But together with our partner unions, we continue to move ahead, striving for 100% Fair Work.
