CNV Internationaal joins the orange the world campaign

CNV International participates in the worldwide #Orangetheworld campaign that starts on 25 November. This day has been named the International Day against Violence against Women by the United Nations. From November 25 to December 10 (the day of human rights), the whole world colors orange for 16 days. The color symbolizes a future free of violence against women and girls.

Of course, CNV Internationaal mainly focuses on violence at the workfloor. According to research, 1 in 3 women are affected, especially women in garment factories. Many important buildings worldwide color orange; from the Eramus bridge in Rotterdam to the Eye in Amsterdam, the city hall in New York, the headquarters of the European Commission in Belgium.
